The Value of End-User Training
How many times have you heard someone in your company say "Do you know how to use the system that IT showed us last week? I tried to run the sales reports, but cannot remember how, and my notes are useless." People go to training by outside resources or internal personnel and do not get the full value from the training. The reasons for this are: (a) the instructor did not know how to adapt to his or her audience, (b) professionally developed training materials and handouts were not provided or were poorly developed, (c) the training materials provided did not include step-by-step exercises to enforce the training session, and (d) the audience might not have been able to work through the exercises once back at their desk with repeatable results to reinforce the training.

Analytic Vision’s Training Methods

We understand that there is a place for canned pubic course training classes, but that is not the type of training we provide for all of the reasons mentioned previously. We work closely with our clients to understand their training requirement and develop highly customized training courses and materials. Analytic Vision develops relational or multidimensional training databases with sample data from your business. This allows your staff to relate to the data, because it is your customers, products, services and metrics. We use the training databases to develop easy-to-follow (step-by-step) classroom exercises that reinforce the other training materials. We offer both advanced development training for your technical team, as well as step-by-step instructions for your end users on implemented solutions.
