Abstract:  A number of security tools are incorporated within the Oracle|Hyperion suite of products, yet many companies do not utilize these tools to their fullest potential.  In this presentation, we will walk through the security tools that are available in Shared Services, Financial Reporting and OBIEE through the Oracle EPM Workspace, Planning, and Essbase.  We will then demonstrate how to use these tools.  You will learn how to 1) extract existing security, 2) import new or existing security permissions and roles, 3) review the security-related standard reports that are available, and 4) review integrating OBIEE and BI Publisher security with Shared Services and the EPM Workspace.  As we go through these four topics, we will discuss how clients have used these tools to satisfy audit requests, assist in troubleshooting, migrate security between environments, automate security updates, and more!
