Microsoft Skill Requirements

Analytic Vision is a Microsoft Gold Certified business intelligence solutions provider, and we are always looking for technology professionals with SQL Server and Analysis Services, SharePoint Server, and PerformancePoint Server background in developing business intelligence applications. Desired skills include:

• Bachelors Degree, with 5+ years related information systems experience and 3+ years in business intelligence
• Experience gathering business requirements and transforming them into appropriate specifications for development team
• Conceptual understanding of a relational star-schema data warehouse
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PerformancePoint Server
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server
• Development and performance-tuning experience with Analysis Services
• Experience with DTS and ActiveX scripts
• Experience in TSQL and MDX
• Development experience with front-end tools such as ProClarity, OLAP Hub, Alphablox, or Excel VBA is a plus
• ETL product experience is a plus 
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual cross functional teams
• Experience conducting user acceptance testing and knowledge transfer activities
• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
