Data Warehousing Skill Requirements

As an enterprise performance management and business intelligence focused consulting services firm, Analytic is always looking for technology professionals with a deep understanding of data warehousing in an enterprise enviroment for developing business intelligence applications. Desired skills include:

• Bachelors Degree, with 5+ years related information systems experience and 3+ years in business intelligence
• Experience gathering business requirements and transforming them into appropriate specifications for development team
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture
• Experience with various business intelligence technologies (applications, databases, ETL, reporting, etc.).
• Expert understanding of data analysis, modeling, and ETL tools
• Knowledge of business applications, with a focus on Sales, Manufacturing, financial systems and revenue/billing systems; Oracle Financials, and ERP experience, a plus
• Knowledge of web applications, databases, reporting/data presentation applications, SQL, and ETL technologies a plus
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent team player able to work with virtual cross functional teams
• Experience conducting user acceptance testing and knowledge transfer activities
• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
